Harper's Bazaar 'Icons' Gala

My Beautiful City designed Harper’s BAZAAR’s sixth annual Icons as a red-carpet gala at The Plaza, built around Carine Roitfeld’s portfolio shot by Mario Sorrenti. The brand palette, red, white, black and gold, informed striking lighting looks and scene installations that encouraged organic content capture throughout the night. Arrivals opened with a live string performance by Call Me Margot against warm, sculptural florals by BRRCH. Guests, including Zendaya, Janelle Monáe and Christy Turlington, progressed along scaffolding structures that displayed illuminated portfolio moments on the approach to the Grand Ballroom. The programme culminated with a headline performance by Alicia Keys, with Heron Preston on decks, delivering an Icons identity that felt both cinematic in the room and instantly shareable online
