The Serpentine partnered with Harrods for the 2016 Future Contemporaries Party. Guests took a break from the dance floor inside award winning artist and architect, Alessandro Bava’s bespoke designed pyramid installation. The second gallery was transformed into a speakeasy, featuring a brass bar – inspired by those in the harrods food halls – with live acoustic music. Text from a specially commissioned story by american author Alexandra Kleeman was projected throughout the gallery. The evening culminated with a lively performance by singer, song writer Jack Peñate.
